Gettin’ The Job(s) Done

If you haven’t seen the new biopic on the late and highly controversial co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. Steve Jobs (1995-2011), perhaps you should consider rescheduling this evening’s plans.

The new biographical-drama directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 hours) and written by Aaron Sorkin (A Few Good Men, the Social Network, The West Wing) is centered upon the biography written by Walter Isaacson in 2011 – and is one hell-of-a film!

The work is set in the 14-year period between 1984-98 and uses the launch of three major milestone products as a platform from which to convey the contentious and history-altering story.

The film is witty, fast-paced, insightful, thought provoking and although dialogue-heavy, its brilliant use of quip and atmosphere ensure that the viewer is left awed, intrigued and inspired.

If you have a free 2 ½ hours, do yourself a favour and check it out.
