UberEats launches in Sydney today, the sixth city to enjoy the service outside of the US. After successfully launching in Melbourne in April this year, Uber has brought the service north.
The whole process is similar to many of the delivery options available, taking restaurants that don’t usually deliver and combining them with the ride sharing power of Uber to bring delicious food directly to your door. Payment is also linked to your pre-existing Uber account so there is no need for a lengthy set up process.
At it’s launch, UberEats already has some 100 food joints to choose from, moving from hatted and acclaimed eateries like Saké and Three Blue Ducks, to fan favourites Butter, Fratelli Fresh and Doughnut Time.
The service is available for inner city dwellers for the time being, covering an area from “Bondi to Surry Hills, Pyrmont to Newtown and everywhere in between.” Get your next meal delivered between 11am and 10pm.
